May the Force Be With You!

Poor little Tot had to do these nebulizer treatments every four hours for over a week. He got so used to them, in fact, that he would just sit with the facemask on while I did other things. We went to the doctor yesterday, and Tot is healthy, knock on wood!. So healthy that he was able to receive his flu shot, which is now highly recommended due to his asthmatic condition. Tell me mothers of older children, does this stuff ever end????

Poor little monkey! That picture breaks my heart. I'm so glad he's better now though...

So glad the Tot is healthy! One of my nephews is two years old and had to have the nebulizer treatments last year and this year has already had one round. Another nephew was hospitalized for RSV last year and it has been predicted that he will be doing the treatments this fall and winter, too. No fun!

Thank you, MB! Seeing Tot with that mask on about broke my heart, too!
Colleen, the threat of RSV always scared the hell out of me when my boys were infants! Luckily, my boys never got it. So sorry to hear that your nephew is going to have to go through that all again this winter too. My doctor told me that Tot will probably outgrow this in a few years, so hopefully your nephew will too!

Teachermom and Sue, thank you. I'm glad he's feeling better too! Now if only we could get his brother to be in a better mood...
