Should I Be Upset?
Should I get upset when my oldest son calls me by the babysitter's name several times in one day? I actually am not bothered by this, but think that maybe I should be. What do you think?

Nah, it means he likes her and has a good rapport with her. That's a good thing when it comes to baby-sitters. I should know--I was a nanny for many years. The parents loved that their kids loved me. One thing they didn't have to worry about all day while their kids were with me.
Sometimes the kids get wrapped up and say the first name that comes to mind. Now if Mr Teacher begins to call you another name, that should burn you up. My daughter often calls me by my first name without thinking.
Take it as a sign the baby sitting gig is the right fit for s.
